Gute Mercedes W123 sind inzwischen ziemlich rar. Auch der hier brauchte zunächst eine Runde An- und Auslauf, um wieder ein guter zu werden. Wartung, Standschäden, Schönheitsreps
Die Bergung aus der Garage, ein kleines Abenteuer, kein Platz und feste Bremsen. Egal, schnell zurück auf die Straße mit dem schönen Stern. Das klappt. Erneuern der Traggelenke vorn und der hinteren Stoßdämpfer von Mercedes Classic Center in Würzburg erledigt. Genau wie die Reparatur des Warmlaufreglers und das Einstellen der Ventile. Zum Schluss spendierten wir dem W123 ein paar Schönheitsreparaturen: Streifschaden behoben, Teilersatz des Lackes von Meisterbetrieb mit Eintrag in der Handwerksrolle. Der unterfränkischen natürlich.

Besteller des DB623 hellelfenbeinfarbenen W123 war ein echter Schlauberger Baujahr 1911. Damals 68 Jahre alt, wählte der Taxiunternehmer für seinen Privatwagen exakt die Farbe, die seine zahlreichen Taxis trugen. Warum, konnten wir ihn leider nicht mehr fragen. Und wir wollen uns auch nichts dabei denken. Die zweite Hand, ein Bänker, besaß das Auto nur 6 Monate, verkaufte es 2001 an den KZF Meister weiter, aus dessen Nachlass es stammt. Der am 14. Dezember 1981 als Neuwagen ausgelieferte W123 hat ein originales Scheckheft mit 12 Einträgen. Alle von Mercedes Kunstmann in Wörth am Main. Seit März diesen Jahres hat der Mercedes frischen TüV und ein Gutachten zur Zulassung mit H-Kennzeichen.

Finally, we donated a few cosmetic repairs to the W123: scratched damage repaired, partial replacement of the paint from a master workshop with an entry in the craft’s roll. This DB623 light ivory-colored W123 was ordered by a really clever old man, born in 1911. At that time, 68 years old, the owner of a taxi company chose exactly the same color for his private car that his numerous taxis were wearing. Unfortunately, we couldn’t ask him why. And we don’t want to think anything of it either. The second hand, a banker, owned the car for only 6 months and in 2001 sold it to the chief mechanic Meister, from whose estate it comes. The W123, which was delivered as a new car on December 14, 1981, has an original Mercedes service booklet with 12 entries. All from Mercedes Kunstmann in Wörth am Main. Since March of this year, the Mercedes has a fresh TüV and a certificate for road approval with historical license plates.
