Retro Classics Stuttgart 2020: Sternfotos Teil 2 kann nur einige der Mercedes Fahrzeuge zeigen, die auf der Messe zu sehen waren. Riesiges Angebot, unfassbar viele wunderschöne Autos mit Stern. Sie alle zu fotografieren hätte Tage gedauert. Wie schon letztes Jahr gab es auch 2020 wieder ein nahezu lückenloses Angebot aller Mercedes Benz Baureihen der Nachkriegsära. Wer sehen wollte, konnte sehen, wer kaufen wollte, hatte dazu reichlich Gelegenheit.
Vorneweg: COVID 19 hielt viele Besucher von der Reise nach Stuttgart ab, das wurde schon am ersten Tag der Messe klar. Ansonsten gab es natürlich auch deutlich angenehmere Dinge zu entdecken. Die üppig mit automobilen Zeitzeugen gespickten Stände der MB Markenclubs zum Beispiel. Oder etwa einige zum Niederknien schöne exklusive Sterne der Bauperiode um den Start des legendären Wirtschaftswunders.
Im letzten Teil unserer dreiteiligen Fotoserie, den wir am Freitag veröffentlichen, werden wir über ein paar persönliche Highlights der Messe sprechen. Von den Autos, die mir am besten gefallen haben, sind heute 3 dabei. Der perfekt restaurierte W111 280SE 3,5 in blau, der wunderschöne W113 280SL grün/grün und der R107 280SL in klassischem Ikonengold. Retro Classics Stuttgart 2020: Sternfotos Teil 2 can only show some of the Mercedes vehicles that were shown at the fair. The offer was huge, an incredible number of beautiful cars with a star. It would have taken days to photograph them all. As in the previous year, there was an almost complete range of all Mercedes Benz model series from the post-war era in 2020. Whoever wanted to see could see whoever wanted to buy had ample opportunity to do so.
First of all: COVID 19 prevented many visitors from traveling to Stuttgart, which became clear on the first day of the fair. Otherwise there were of course much more pleasant things to discover. For example, the stands of the MB brand clubs lavishly peppered with automotive eyewitnesses. Or perhaps some beautiful, exclusive stars from the construction period around the start of the legendary economic miracle.
The last part of our three-part photo series, which we will publish on Friday, will also deal with a few personal highlights of this fair. Of all the cars that I liked best there, 3 are in the gallery of today.
